The Hotel Degli Orafi is a prestigious building in the historic centre of Florence and offers a wide range of services and comforts. Situated on the Archibusieri Arno embankment,the complex still hold historical outlets, which date back to the 13th century, such as the holy Agostino's Father convent and enclosure.
Buffet breakfast is served in an ancient particularly precious ballroom, decorated with original XIX century frescoes and overlooking the Arno river. Guests will find something for every taste, from bakeries and cookies to a healthy based breakfast for those who wish so.
At the second floor there is the library with original 12th century frescoes wise restored and a large selection of books in many languages where guests can sit down and relax in the quiet atmosphere. Here guests can also use internet point, a fixed workstation for those without their own laptop.
The Hotel offers a “Welcome drink” to enjoy on its beautiful roof terrace bar. From the roof garden, situated on the 5th floor, a splendid panorama can be seen both on the roofs of the ancient city and its monuments, and on the Florentine hills.
Here guests can also enjoy a light lunch, snacks and relax to a good Chianti wine.
The hotel can be reached by car and upon arrival it will be parked in a supervised garage close to the hotel.

The Hotel offers 42 rooms delightedly refurbished with modern furniture, wall-to-wall carpet or parquet, and very well equipped.
The rooms, divided into Classic, Executive and Junior Suites, are spacious and elegant, finely finished in period furniture, and provided with all comforts.
All the rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a direct phone line, minibar, satellite TV and a safe. The bathrooms are made in marble, with either showers or tubs; many of the rooms have two washbasins and/or separate WC. In here guests will also find a hairdryer, bathrobe, vanity set and slippers.
All floors are served by lifts and the Hotel has also been adapted for disabled use.
For more romantics, the hotel offers the famous "Room with a View" with a breathtaking panorama over the Arno River and The Ponte Vecchio.
The new wing “Orafi Tower”, in the restored part of the ancient tower, hosts the suites, elegantly furnished in a more modern style, particularly suitable for longer stays or for families who will appreciate more space.
The Suite apartment in the convent’s ancient bell tower, with unique views of Giotto’s Bell Tower and Brunelleschi’s Dome, is particularly picturesque.
