Completely reconstructed while retaining its original architectural characteristics, the Hotel Brunelleschi is perfectly positioned in the centre of Florence.
The hotel originates from the recovered invaluable historic structures of the Byzantine tower and the medieval church of San Michele in Palchetto. The semicircular shape of the Torre della Pagliazza (Pagliazza Tower), the heart of the Hotel Brunelleschi, attests to its sixth century Byzantine origin.
A private museum houses the artefacts found during the reconstruction of the hotel and set in the Tower’s very foundation, a calidarium of Roman origin and is at guests’ disposal.
The Santa Elisabetta Restaurant situated in the quiet antique Byzantine tower offers excellent Florentine traditional and innovative cuisine, not forgetting its rich wine list. The restaurant is composed of three different areas and can accommodate up to 120 guests.
